Ideally, you will have previous experience within a primary school or similar setting.

With a good knowledge and understanding of how to support learning for children and building effective relationships with children, staff and parents, you will assist with reading, writing and number tasks, and other activities to support learning outcomes.  With good interpersonal and communication skills, you will be organised, flexible and have the presence to inspire confidence and trust so as to develop and nurture independence.

1:1 Teaching Assistant, KS2 – Closing Date for applications Friday 12th October

Temporary Contract, 31.25 hrs per week, Term Time Only

With a good knowledge and understanding of how to support learning for children and building effective relationships with children, staff and parents, you will assist with reading, writing and number tasks, and other activities to support learning outcomes.  With good interpersonal and communication skills, you will be organised, flexible and have the presence to inspire confidence and trust so as to develop and nurture independence. Previous experience with working with pupils with social, emotional and behaviour difficulties is desirable.

School Cleaner

Part Time; 16 hours per week, Monday – Friday after school : 52 weeks per year.  

Actual Salary £7,089 – Closing Date for applications Friday 19th October

As a highly motivated individual you will join our team who are responsible for the cleaning, maintenance and security of the school premises and site.

Working under the direction of the Site Manager, your main duties will include day to day cleaning around the school.  The main purpose of the role is to ensure that designated areas of the school are kept clean, hygienic and safe to create a suitable environment for staff and pupils. Your main duties would include:

  • Cleaning, washing and sweeping
  • Emptying of litter bins
  • Polishing and dusting where appropriate
  • Using powered equipment (e.g. vacuum cleaners, polishers) where appropriate.
  • To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably requested by the Site Manager, Business Manager or Headteacher.

Nursery Assistant – Closing Date for applications Friday 12th October

Part Time: 12.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday.  Temporary Contract to December 2018

Under the direction of the Nursery Manager to assist in providing a high standard of childcare for children aged between 6 months and 5 years within a stimulating, friendly and positive environment that is physically and emotionally secure.  Children’s welfare must be of paramount importance together with the commitment to deliver the highest quality education and care.
