As a highly motivated individual you will join our team who are responsible for the cleaning, maintenance and security of the school premises and site. Hours would be 10 hours per week after school, 52 weeks per year.
Working under the direction of the Site Manager, your main duties will include day to day cleaning around the school. The main purpose of the role is to ensure that designated areas of the school are kept clean, hygienic and safe to create a suitable environment for staff and pupils. Your main duties would include:
- Cleaning, washing and sweeping
- Emptying of litter bins
- Polishing and dusting where appropriate
- Using powered equipment (e.g. vacuum cleaners, polishers) where appropriate.
- To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably requested by the Site Manager, Business Manager or Headteacher.
Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant
You will be responsible for the setting up and clearing of the hall for lunches, ensuring that during the lunch periods pupils are in a clean and safe environment. In addition, promoting positive play and pupil behaviour whilst eating and playing in line with the standards expected of the School, and that pupils are ready to return to class on time. Hours will be 11.50am – 1.05pm, Monday – Friday, term time only.
