Teaching Assistant- EYFS

30 hrs per week/Term Time Only

Maternity Cover to 31st August 2020

Salary:  Trust Grade 2, £18,065 – £18,795 (FTE)

Highbury Primary School is a good school with a rich and vibrant school life, where children feel safe and happy.  We are seeking to appoint an excellent practitioner who has the energy, enthusiasm and dedication with a passion to ensure all children are ‘Valued as individuals’ and ‘Inspired and nurtured as learners’.  You will have a flexible, “can do” attitude and it will be obvious you take pride in your work.  The successful candidate will need to be a team player but also able to use their own initiative. You will have previous experience within a primary school or similar setting.  You will need a good knowledge and understanding of how to support learning for children and building effective relationships with children, staff and parents. You will assist with reading, writing and number tasks, and other activities to support learning outcomes.  With good interpersonal and communication skills, you will be organised, flexible and have the presence to inspire confidence and trust so as to develop and nurture independence. Previous experience with working with pupils in the EYFS is desireable.
