Extended Day Assistant,
12.25 hrs per week/Term Time Only; Hours of work: Mon-Thur 3.15 – 6.00pm and Fri 3.15 – 4.30pm
Salary: Trust Grade 2, £18,065 – £18,795 (FTE); Actual Salary £5,137
We want an enthusiastic and committed person to join our After School Club in January 2020. You will have a flexible, “can do” attitude and it will be obvious you take pride in your work. The successful candidate will need to be a team player but also able to use their own initiative. You will have previous experience within a primary school or similar setting and have a good understanding of safeguarding.
You will need a good knowledge and understanding of how to support play activities for children and building effective relationships with children, staff and parents. You will assist with food preparation, first aid, setting up and clearing away at the end of the day. With good interpersonal and communication skills, you will be organised and have the presence to inspire confidence and trust.
