Studybugs Message 26/06/2020:  Vote for our new class names ready for September 2020! We are going to be changing our class names so that they reflect our school values and ethos. We want your help to name the classes from Year 1 to Year 6. Below, we have selected a variety of inspirational people who have achieved great things. They have all had to show respect. They have all had to be resilient. They have had to be confident. They have had to be kind. They are all inclusive. And they are or have been aspirational. We have chosen the inspirational people for you to choose from. In order to make your decision, you can research and see which ones best represent our school values. Each new class will be named after the inspirational person’s surname. Choose your top 5 by clicking onto this link bit.ly/highburyclassnames We look forward to sharing the outcome with you next week. Kind regards Mr Howard

Sun cream must be applied on your child (in the hot weather) before coming to school

If you intend for your child to reapply sun cream (if they have not used a once a day sun cream), send their cream in clearly labelled.  This will be kept with your child and your child will be guided by an adult to reapply this themselves. Please note that we DO NOT have sun cream onsite.

It is advisable to provide your child with a hat too which will be kept at your child’s work space during the day and only used when they go outside.

It is very important you remember a water bottle for your child.

Ruck sacks/bags are not permitted due to the Government guidelines (with the exception of nursery children requiring spare clothes/nappies etc)
